Scope

What this site is

99NightsGuide.wiki is a guide, data and light-tool site for 99 Nights in the Forest, a survival horror experience on Roblox. It exists to answer specific player questions quickly: which code works, which class fits a playstyle, where a material comes from, how a rescue is gated, and what a hunter’s numbers actually mean.

Not affiliated

Fan-made, independent resource. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Roblox Corporation or the developer of 99 Nights in the Forest.

Editorial process

How we work

  1. Collect. Leads are gathered from official material where it exists, then press coverage, then community and database sources.
  2. Attribute. Every claim is tied to a source and a confidence level. Non-official sources are cited by name only.
  3. Verify. Codes, numbers, drops and routes are checked in game. Anything unproven stays flagged.
  4. Publish. One page per intent, with a last-checked date and related links.
  5. Re-check. Update entries list the pages they affect, and those pages carry the date they were last refreshed.

Why we show uncertainty

A wiki that hides uncertainty is worse than no wiki, because you cannot tell which parts to trust. Showing a NEEDS_VERIFY flag costs us a little credibility in the moment and saves you a wasted run.

What every page must have

Page standards

  • A unique title, H1, URL and canonical.
  • An answer in the first screen — not buried under preamble.
  • Sources, a confidence level and a last-checked date.
  • Applicable conditions, limits and exceptions.
  • Common mistakes and a FAQ section.
  • Internal links to the guides and data that follow it.

Hard exclusions

What we refuse to publish

  • Scripts, cheats, exploits or auto-farming tools.
  • Robux offers, generators, giveaways or account trading.
  • Player counts, drop rates or version numbers presented as verified when they are not.
  • Copied text, images, maps or icons from other wikis.
  • Fixed map coordinates for a game whose map regenerates every run.
  • AI output published without a human review pass.

Corrections

If you find an error, email hello@99nightsguide.wiki with the page URL, the specific claim, and evidence — a screenshot or a reproducible in-game step is ideal. Corrections that change a status also update the last-checked date, so the page tells you when it last changed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official 99 Nights in the Forest wiki?
No. This is an independent fan project. We do not describe ourselves as official, endorsed or developer-connected, and we do not host developer assets.
Do you use AI to write pages?
Drafting assistance may be used, but nothing is published without a human review pass against our source ledger. Codes, numbers, drops and routes always require in-game confirmation before they are marked verified.
Can I contribute a correction?
Yes. Email hello@99nightsguide.wiki with the page URL, what is wrong, and evidence such as a screenshot or a reproducible in-game step. Corrections that change a status get the last-checked date updated.
Do you sell anything?
No. There are no paid placements for codes, no account services, and no Robux or item trading.
